WHAT WE DO
Our purpose at JQ Foundation is to raise funds for events that educate and bring awareness to brands and organizations that are leaders in the environmental movement.
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS
We believe that highlighting these environmentally conscious companies and organizations can inspire others to adopt sustainable practices and positively impact our planet. In addition to raising awareness, we are actively working on building and shaping the sustainable future of Miami. To achieve our goals, we are involved in a variety of initiatives, from organizing beach cleanups to working on larger projects such as leading the sustainable education movement in Miami-Dade schools. We also collaborate with other organizations and groups that share our values and mission. Together, we aim to create a more sustainable and environmentally aware community in Miami.
Monthly Beach Cleanups
In partnership with Sunny Isles Beach Cleanup, we hold a monthly event aimed at raising awareness about ocean pollution and the negative effects it has on our planet.
Sunset Beach yoga
We strive to promote a deeper connection with the planet by offering yoga classes by the ocean, providing an opportunity for our community to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving it.
Sustainability in Margarita
Educating the next generation of Venezuela's small local communities on the significance of ethical and sustainable gardening practices in order to contribute to the community's growth and well-being.
Miami Alkaline Water Collaboration
Partnered with Miami Alkaline Water, our sponsor, to create Aluminum Water bottles to be used across all JQ projects.
Miami Diaper Bank
We have joined forces with Miami Diaper Bank to distribute reusable diapers to underprivileged communities, helping to promote sustainable living and reduce waste.
DesignLab Fast
Fashion Education
Collaborated with Design Lab Miami and Ochoa to educate the next generation of young designers on the significance of sustainability in the fashion industry.
