Our purpose at JQ Foundation is to raise funds for events that educate and bring awareness to brands and organizations that are leaders in the environmental movement.

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS

We believe that highlighting these environmentally conscious companies and organizations can inspire others to adopt sustainable practices and positively impact our planet. In addition to raising awareness, we are actively working on building and shaping the sustainable future of Miami. To achieve our goals, we are involved in a variety of initiatives, from organizing beach cleanups to working on larger projects such as leading the sustainable education movement in Miami-Dade schools. We also collaborate with other organizations and groups that share our values and mission. Together, we aim to create a more sustainable and environmentally aware community in Miami.

Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation

In partnership with Miami-Dade Parks, we host monthly clean-up events to raise awareness about litter pollution and its lasting impact on our environment. These gatherings bring our community together to take action, spark conversation, and foster a shared responsibility for keeping our local parks and ecosystems clean.

Sea Oats Planting

As part of our commitment to #ProtectingthePlanetofTomorrow, we raised funds during our recent paddle tournament to plant over 100 sea oats at Haulover Beach. These native grasses play a crucial role in preventing erosion, managing flooding, and protecting Florida’s shorelines.

Fashion with a Purpose

Born from our passion for youth-led sustainability, Remember Earth is our creative extension into ethical fashion. We work with our immigrant community to turn textile waste into wearable stories of second chances, each piece made from upcycled materials with purpose and care. It’s where sustainability meets creativity, inviting anyone with a vision for a better planet to join us.

Annual Fundraising Tournaments

Each year, we host padel and golf tournaments to raise funds for our environmental programs. With support from individual players, sponsors, and community partners, these events blend fun, friendly competition, great food, and meaningful impact, all in the name of the planet.

“Saving the Planet” K–12 Curriculum

Through our “Save the Planet” initiative, we teach students the 5Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, and Recycle, using a bilingual book and classroom activities. We've brought this program to schools like Doral Academy K-12 to help build everyday sustainable habits from an early age.

Sustainability in Margarita

Educating the next generation of Venezuela's small local communities on the significance of ethical and sustainable gardening practices in order to contribute to the community's growth and well-being.
